Our Story So Far
- Experienced Trial Attorney skilled in civil litigation, appeals, and alternative dispute resolution.
- AV® Rated in Martindale-Hubbell for almost 30 years.
- He and his solo practice named a Georgia Super Lawyer for 2022-2024.
Originally a resident of Columbus, Georgia, Keith moved to the Atlanta area to attend Emory University. After careers in the hospitality industry and as an educator, he attended the University of Georgia School of Law, graduating Order of the Coif in 1993.
In the 1990s, Keith practiced with Columbus and Atlanta law firms, where he worked on fraud, products liability, medical malpractice, catastrophic road wrecks, and other cases. Keith’s work included being the lead associate responsible for scene investigation, damages evaluation, and other case workup. His trials then included a product liability case which resulted in one of the largest compensatory verdicts in Georgia history.
2000 saw a change in his practice when Keith moved to boutique commercial law firms for more than fifteen years (intermixed with his first time as a solo practitioner). He represented clients in arbitrations, class actions, commercial lawsuits, construction disputes, and fiduciary matters. Keith’s clients in the 2000s included some of the largest contractors in the world.
For the past eight years, first with a North Georgia firm and now on his own again, Keith has continued providing legal services on issues involving fiduciary duty and other business entity disputes, commercial matters, estate, and trust litigation, premises liability, product liability and other personal injuries, and professional malpractice. His trial work has included Richards v. Total Transportation of Mississippi LLC, the Georgia Southern nursing student case for which the jury returned a substantial damages verdict (with the case being concluded as the result of a pre-verdict settlement between the parties).
Keith was formerly an Adjunct Professor – first at University of Georgia School of Law (starting in 2005) and later at Georgia State University College of Law (starting in 2012)– where he instructed law students on business litigation, economic torts and product liability issues.
Keith has also written articles for, and made presentations on, legal and professional issues for the American Bar Association, the Georgia Institute for Continuing Legal Education and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.

What Others Say
Advocate & Advisor
Keith has a very quick mind and was able to immediately grasp and retain a large amount of information. His analytical skills and expertise were immediately apparent. Keith always listened intently and put me at ease throughout the case. He has the ability to express complicated legal proceedings into laymen’s terms. His counsel was always well thought out and I especially appreciated his ability to think beyond a “one size fits all” solution.
I highly recommend Keith Pittman as an attorney, advocate, and advisor. His diligence, knowledge, timely preparation, and excellent communication skills combined to bring a successful resolution to my case.
